Look, I've always been suspicious of the whole "Vanilla is #1" thing, but a poll covering just 0.0007% of the population seems a bit small to justify that Chocolate has taken the top spot. You can check out all the details here, but like I said, take this poll with a grain of salt.... oh I see the trick, it says "pick your two favorite flavors". Ohhhh, it's all in how you word things people. Actually, I also take offense to milkshakes being classified as "other" in the favorite way to eat ice cream part of the poll. The On Second Scoop poll showed shakes clocking in at 17%, so them classifying it as "other" just blows their silly poll #2 out of the water. Oy, they should have asked me for help on this one.
Frozen yogurt leader introducing new Mango flavor nationwide
DALLAS, Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- It's finally here! After many repeated requests from hundreds of thousands of its fans on Facebook and Twitter, Red Mango is introducing its newest frozen yogurt flavor, Mango, in stores nationwide.
"I'm very excited to finally introduce our very own Mango frozen yogurt to all our fans," said Dan Kim, founder and chief concept officer of one of the fastest-growing retailer of all-natural probiotic frozen yogurt and fresh fruit smoothies. "It's a flavor they've been asking for, and one I've clearly spent a lot of time developing. As with our other flavors, we've been able to create a unique yet delicious all-natural frozen yogurt treat without sacrificing health or nutrition."
Kim's latest recipe, which is all-natural and nonfat, has a ripe and juicy Mango flavor. At just 30 calories per one ounce serving, Mango is gluten free, kosher and fortified with natural probiotics that help support a healthy immune system. The new frozen yogurt flavor pairs well with fresh fruit like bananas and berries, as well as other delicious toppings available at Red Mango locations such as graham cracker crumbs and organic pumpkin flax seed granola.
On August 13th Red Mango will release its all-new Mango flavored yogurt in participating locations. The first 100 customers at each participating location to order the new Mango flavor will also receive a free limited edition mango flavored lip balm developed exclusively for "Red Mango by Buddha Balm®", a premium soy-based lip balm that is as flavorful as it is meaningful.
