Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Introduces Three New Flavors to Their Award-Winning Product Line

The Creator of World's First Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars
Adds Coconut, Mango and Vanilla Bean
to Expand on Their Already Delicious and Nutritious Flavor Lineup

BOSTON, Jan. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt announces the addition of Coconut, Mango and Vanilla Bean to their line of frozen Greek yogurt bars. The new products will double the company's current offerings, now with a total of six flavors in their portfolio. Beginning in February of 2013, all the new flavors will be available in major grocery retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $4.99-$5.49.

"Our decision to launch Coconut, Mango and Vanilla Bean was based on consumer conversations throughout our national sampling tour and surveys we conducted on Facebook," said Yasso Co-Founder Drew Harrington . "We're fortunate to have such wonderful fans and love including them in the creation of new flavors and product launches. Coconut, Mango and Vanilla Bean will add exciting flavor diversity to the current lineup of Raspberry, Strawberry and Blueberry."

Coconut uses real shavings of coconut, creating a unique treat that has a punch of flavor. It's a great healthy option for a summery snack.

Mango is made with real mangoes, providing a whopping 60 percent of your daily vitamin C per bar. The clean and authentic mango flavor is also a great solution for an on-the-go breakfast.

Vanilla Bean takes the timeless flavor and combines it with the natural tartness of Greek yogurt, delivering a traditional taste with an untraditional calorie count and seven grams of protein.

The new additions are creamy and irresistible, which people expect from the Yasso brand; however, each delicious bar is only 80 calories, has 6-7 grams of protein and contains little to no fat. All Yasso novelty bars are offered in 3.5 fluid ounce bars, made with all-natural real Greek yogurt and are free of artificial sweeteners. Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars are available in major retailers nationwide.

Edy's / Dreyer's ends Girl Scout Cookie branding

So here we are at the beginning of 2013 and already the Edy's / Dreyer's girl scout cookie flavors are on the shelves already, there's just one little catch....

flavor you love!

Yes, this terribly worded tag is trying to tell us something.

Samoas ice cream has reverted back to caramel coconut cookie, Thin mint has resorted back to Mint Cookie, and it looks like Tagalongs might be a victim of the branding war. The coloring hasn't even changed on the packaging, just the name.

There are still slow churned versions but again Tagalongs is missing, poor poor tagalong (much like the loss of the Hot Cocoa holiday flavor). So weird that this relationship has appeared to end, it's been going on since at least 2000. That's a long long time my friends.

Update: You may have seen it already, but their are now Girl Scout branded Breyers Blasts in the form of Samoa and Thin Mint flavors. Sadly, no sign of tagalong anywhere.
